Element II: Family Management

There are times it will be necessary to be away from home.

Funeral Leave

This is a time to mourn the passing of a family member, to attend the funeral ceremony and take care of personal matters related to the death of a member of our family or someone who we may know or respect.

Sickness/Hospitalization

Sometimes we get sick and need to go into the hospital.

Personal Leave

As a Family member, you are encouraged to take personal leave each year. Personal leave time is intended to be used to accomplish personal business, to enjoy the peace of being alone with your own thoughts, the creation around you and in prayer with God. This is a time for you. Enjoy it. Let us know where you'll be and how to be in touch with you in case the need arises.

Education

Study is often done at schools away from home where we can get the best training there is to offer.

The Military

Family members may have to serve in the military.

Work Related Travel

Sometimes it is necessary to travel for work.
