Performance
Element II: Family Management

Performance is the way you do something. Each person continuously evaluates their own performance in everything they do. Living together day-to-day gives us all a sense of how each of us performs and helps to share Family responsibilities.

No one person in our Family should have to pull all the weight. If we all pitch in we can make living together a happy time for us all. Following are some of the things each of us should consider, as a way to measure how well we are performing for ourselves, and as a valuable member of the Family.
- Initiative and effort in our work
- How well we understand what we are supposed to do
- Our attitude and willingness
- The quality and quantity of your work

The primary reason to review our performance is to identify our strengths and weaknesses in order to reinforce good habits and develop ways to improve in weaker areas. Review also serves to make each of us aware of how our performance compares to the goals of our lives. This is a good time to discuss your interests and future goals. Our Family is interested in progress and growth to achieve personal and family goals and opportunities for all of us.
Good performance is good craftsmanship.
