The Art & Science of Skillful Living ®

Every craft has "how to" manuals and handbooks to help guide practitioners through the practical aspects of the discipline. The LIFECRAFT Life Planner was created with this same purpose in mind. It is a practical everyday reference to help you manage your daily practice of LIFECRAFT. Feel free to browse through it and focus on those elements or specific subjects which are of immediate use to you.
The LIFECRAFT Life Planner is designed for you and your family to progressively modify and develop the subject contents contained within each of the Five Elements to reflect your family's practice of LIFECRAFT.

It is a multipurpose:

To achieve this practically, the LIFECRAFT Life Planner pages can be saved to your own computer and edited as you like. However, do not feel compelled to rewrite or edit any of the individual subject pages. If you agree with what is written you can just leave it as is. We keep ours in a standard 3 ring binder format using three hole punched paper allowing you to easily add and remove subject pages as often as you deem necessary. A large variety of specialty papers can be purchased from office supply stores to dress up the presentation.

The Life Planner is divided into the Five Elements of LIFECRAFT. All of the individual subjects presented within each of the 5 sections can be further developed and rewritten by you to reflect your family's views and approach to each one of the subjects within the Five Elements of LIFECRAFT.

To help you get started, each Element in the LIFECRAFT Life Planner is complete with subject pages. Keep or discard whatever suits you. Add quotations and writings from your favorite authorities, as well as your own thoughts. Your family will ultimately decide which subjects are important to you, and how each subject should be phrased to reflect your LIFECRAFT style.

However, it is only a starting point. Each subject contained within each of the Five Elements is a body of knowledge unto itself. As such, there are books and many other authoritative works which expand upon these subjects far beyond their limited treatment in the LIFECRAFT Life Planner. This was intentional so that you would seek out more complete works as the need arises.

The Craftsmanship Company has also established an ongoing effort to identify resources to share with you making it easier for you to locate the tools you need. Also included in the "Tool Box"; Element V of the Life Planner, are two important documents:
Purpose Of The Life Planner
This document which can be found in Section V of the Life Planner, was developed to help you introduce and explain the LIFECRAFT Life Planner to your family in a structured and meaningful way. Look over the text of the document and change it to suit your family situation. The principal idea of the document is to show love and caring by introducing tools to assist family members throughout their lives. Discussion may follow as you like, however, you may wish to defer lengthy discussion with a suggestion that everyone can look over the Life Planner on their own, and set aside time to talk about its contents together as a family, as well as having individual discussions.
Receipt & Acknowledgment
The Life Planner is a "valuable piece of family property." Consider having family members sign a copy of the Receipt & Acknowledgment document as a pledge to support the family's use of the Life Planner and to contribute to it. A copy of the document should be kept by each family member in their personal copy of the Life Planner as a reminder and a valuable keepsake.

As with all LIFECRAFT documents, you may use them as they are, or modify them to your own liking.
